Attractive supply of new office space leads to a stronger take-up

  • Office take-up in H2 2018 increased by around 26% to ca. 132,000 sq m in comparison to H2 2017 – total take up amounted to around 269,000 sq m in 2018
  • Completions with around 95,000 sq m in H2 2018
  • Due to the large volume of new supply the vacancy rate increased to ca. 5.2% in 2018
  • Prime rent for Viennese offices remained at ca. €25.50/sq m/month in H2 2018
